On a recent visit to DC to visit my son, my husband & I were able to visit a live Butterfly habitat. Although all the butterflys within this habitat were not native to America, (most were from South America) I still could not help but marvel at their beauty.
Quite beautiful.
Do you know how it comes that these originally Southern American types are in that habitat?
Some time ago I was reading a story about butterflies traveling from North to South Europe for the winter. I still find that such an odd story. The source was reliable but I just can't get a grip on it.
